The data released by Bureau of Labor Statistics for Consumer Price Index on 12th March, 2025 has come in at a decrease to 0.4% for February 2025. Compared to the previous release for January 2025 at 0.7%, we can see that prices & inflation is still increasing but slowed month over month.

Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 181,579 ETH with prices swinging between 1,877.67 and 1,960.00, representing a swing of 4.20%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased by 38% to 249,693 ETH. Price action ranged from a low of 1,829.72 to a high of 1,947.00, a difference of 6.02%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 8,550 ETH in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 1,911.13 to a high of 1,931.05, a 1.03% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased significantly by 401% to 42,823 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 1,916.18 with a high of 1,947.00, a significant change of 1.58%.
