The data released by Bureau of Labor Statistics for Consumer Price Index on 15th July, 2025 has come in at an increase to 0.3% for June 2025. Compared to the previous release for May 2025 at 0.2%, we can see that prices & inflation is increasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of TAO's price during the CPI release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 19,284 TAO with prices swinging between 409.10 and 427.90, representing a swing of 4.39%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased considerably by 53% to 29,426 TAO. Price action ranged from a low of 418.60 to a high of 437.50, a difference of 4.32%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 1,098 TAO in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 421.30 to a high of 424.30, a 0.71% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased significantly by 301% to 4,404 TAO. At this time, Bittensor hit a low of 418.60 with a high of 430.40, a significant change of 2.74%.
