On 18th June, 2025, the Federal Open Market Committee has decided to maintain the target interest rate at 4.25-4.50%.

To see the impact and volatility of TAO's price during the Fed Interest Rate release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 19,929 TAO with prices swinging between 340.10 and 351.70, representing a swing of 3.30%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased by 50% to 29,806 TAO. Price action ranged from a low of 344.20 to a high of 370.00, a significant difference of 6.97%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 914 TAO in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 344.90 to a high of 348.30, a 0.98% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased significantly by 177% to 2,529 TAO. At this time, Bittensor hit a low of 344.20 with a high of 350.60, a significant change of 1.83%.
