HBAR Volatility Analysis for PCE, 29th March 2024

The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 29th March, 2024 has come in at a decrease to 0.3% for February 2024. Compared to the previous release for January 2024 at 0.4%, we can see that prices & inflation is still increasing but slowed month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 17.886M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.112800 and 0.116100, representing a swing of 2.84%. Prices ranged between a low of 0.114600 to a high of 0.116100, a 1.29% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 14% to 1.46M HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.115300 with a high of 0.116400, a change of 0.95%.
