The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 30th April, 2021 has come in at an increase to 0.5% for March 2021. Compared to the previous release for February 2021 at 0.4%, we can see that prices & inflation is increasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 13.658M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.288000 and 0.295550, representing a swing of 2.55%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased by 39% to 19.031M HBAR. Price action ranged from a low of 0.288000 to a high of 0.299190, a difference of 3.74%

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 1.13M HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.288350 to a high of 0.291090, a 0.94% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 30% to 794,243 HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.288000 with a high of 0.289980, a change of 0.68%.
