HBAR Volatility Analysis for PCE, 30th June 2023

The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 30th June, 2023 has come in at a decrease to 0.1% for May 2023. Compared to the previous release for April 2023 at 0.3%, we can see that prices & inflation is still increasing but slowed month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 28.777M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.050200 and 0.051500, representing a swing of 2.52%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased considerably by 91% to 54.915M HBAR. Price action ranged from a low of 0.047000 to a high of 0.051500, a significant difference of 8.74%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 1.219M HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.051100 to a high of 0.051400, a 0.58% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 11% to 1.087M HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.051200 with a high of 0.051500, a change of 0.58%.
