HBAR Volatility Analysis for PCE, 30th June 2022

The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 30th June, 2022 has come in at an increase to 0.6% for May 2022. Compared to the previous release for April 2022 at 0.3%, we can see that prices & inflation is increasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 12.834M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.060000 and 0.061300, representing a swing of 2.12%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased by 25% to 16.082M HBAR. Price action ranged from a low of 0.059700 to a high of 0.062000, a significant difference of 3.71%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 927,140 HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.060600 to a high of 0.061300, a 1.14% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased considerably by 68% to 1.554M HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.061200 with a high of 0.061800, a change of 0.97%.
