HBAR Volatility Analysis for PCE, 25th June 2021

The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 25th June, 2021 has come in at a decrease to 0.5% for May 2021. Compared to the previous release for April 2021 at 0.6%, we can see that prices & inflation is still increasing but slowed month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 20.412M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.173190 and 0.184680, representing a swing of 6.22%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased significantly by 127% to 46.3M HBAR. Price action ranged from a low of 0.165000 to a high of 0.175860, a difference of 6.18%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 1.821M HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.174340 to a high of 0.176390, a 1.16% change. Immediately following, trading volume remain relatively similar at 1.833M HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.172930 with a high of 0.175470, a change of 1.45%.
