The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 31st July, 2020 has come in at an increase to 0.3% for June 2020. Compared to the previous release for May 2020 at 0.1%, we can see that prices & inflation is increasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 5.265M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.042200 and 0.042870, representing a swing of 1.56%. 15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 175,198 HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.042440 to a high of 0.042580, a 0.33% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 97% to 6,015 HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.042410 with a high of 0.042560, a change of 0.35%.
