HBAR Volatility Analysis for PCE, 28th April 2023

The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 28th April, 2023 has come in at a decrease to 0.1% for March 2023. Compared to the previous release for February 2023 at 0.3%, we can see that prices & inflation is still increasing but slowed month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 6.261M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.060300 and 0.061000, representing a swing of 1.15%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased considerably by 57% to 9.802M HBAR. Price action ranged from a low of 0.060000 to a high of 0.060900, a difference of 1.48%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 268,390 HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.060500 to a high of 0.060700, a 0.33% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased significantly by 334% to 1.165M HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.060400 with a high of 0.060800, a significant change of 0.66%.
