On 29th October, 2025, the Federal Open Market Committee has decided to decrease the interest rate by 25 basis points for a target interest rate at 4.0-4.25%.

Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 116,161 ETH with prices swinging between 3,926.00 and 4,016.02, representing a swing of 2.24%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased considerably by 58% to 183,991 ETH. Price action ranged from a low of 3,840.37 to a high of 4,018.46, a significant difference of 4.43%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 5,128 ETH in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 3,996.62 to a high of 4,016.02, a 0.48% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased significantly by 311% to 21,092 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 3,974.77 with a high of 4,018.46, a significant change of 1.09%.
