On 30th July, 2025, the Federal Open Market Committee has decided to maintain the target interest rate at 4.25-4.50%.

To see the impact and volatility of TAO's price during the Fed Interest Rate release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 16,531 TAO with prices swinging between 364.20 and 376.10, representing a swing of 3.16%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased considerably by 68% to 27,735 TAO. Price action ranged from a low of 355.40 to a high of 375.70, a significant difference of 5.40%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 261 TAO in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 371.60 to a high of 374.10, a 0.67% change. Immediately following, trading volume remain relatively similar at 4,540 TAO. At this time, Bittensor hit a low of 369.80 with a high of 375.60, a significant change of 1.54%.
