On 7th May, 2025, the Federal Open Market Committee has decided to maintain the target interest rate at 4.25-4.50%.

To see the impact and volatility of TAO's price during the Fed Interest Rate release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 18,523 TAO with prices swinging between 353.30 and 366.20, representing a swing of 3.52%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased by 7% to 19,804 TAO. Price action ranged from a low of 355.30 to a high of 364.40, a difference of 2.50%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 1,126 TAO in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 356.00 to a high of 359.80, a 1.06% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased significantly by 196% to 3,336 TAO. At this time, Bittensor hit a low of 355.30 with a high of 363.00, a significant change of 2.12%.
