The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 30th July, 2021 has come in at a decrease to 0.5% for June 2021. Compared to the previous release for May 2021 at 0.5%, we can see that prices & inflation is increasing at the same rate month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 28.762M HBAR with prices swinging between 0.199000 and 0.217930, representing a swing of 8.69%. Subsequently, the trading volume decreased by 63% to 10.655M HBAR. Price action ranged from a low of 0.203000 to a high of 0.213000, a difference of 4.69%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 3.254M HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.210460 to a high of 0.215300, a 2.25% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 57% to 1.407M HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.210710 with a high of 0.213000, a change of 1.08%.
