The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Consumption Expenditures on 31st March, 2023 has come in at a decrease to 0.3% for February 2023. Compared to the previous release for January 2023 at 0.5%, we can see that prices & inflation is still increasing but slowed month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of HBAR's price during the PCE release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

Subsequently, the trading volume increased by 40% to 98.233M HBAR. Price action ranged from a low of 0.070400 to a high of 0.075000, a difference of 6.13%

15-Minutes Chart Analysis

Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 2.065M HBAR in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 0.070300 to a high of 0.071200, a 1.26% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased considerably by 76% to 3.625M HBAR. At this time, Hedera hit a low of 0.070400 with a high of 0.071300, a change of 1.26%.
